What is Clarita’s Hotel?
Clarita’s is located on Costa Rica’s beautiful Pacific Coast, directly on Jacó Beach — the closest beach to the San Jose capital and airport! Clarita’s is only a 1.5-2 hour drive from San Jose.

Hand wash station, mask worn until seated, 100% occupancy w/o vaccination or QR code.
Does Clarita’s Hotel charge a resort fee?
Our room rates include governmental and tourism tax (and no resort fees)!
Do you offer parking?
Clarita provides secured parking and 24 hour security.
Are pets allowed at the resort?
Pets are only allowed in the outdoor seating area of the restaurant. No pets are allowed inside our hotel rooms.
How far are you from the airport?
SJO International Airport is 1.5-2 hours away from Clarita’s Hotel.
What is required for check in?
Please present your State issued ID, Passport, Cedula. We use email verification to verify your identity as a guest if you reserved online.
Am I able to book larger rooms?
Max room occupancy is 2. Additional bed available upon request ($10/night) for a max of occupancy of 4.
Is there security on property?
Clarita provides secured parking and 24 hour security.
Is the property on the beach?
The rooms are oceanfront and most have ocean views.
Are there attractions nearby?

Booking
I didn’t receive a confirmation email, is my reservation still valid?
You’ll get a confirmation email once your booking is confirmed. This should only take about ten minutes but sometimes can take longer. Check your spam/junk mail folders for this email. It may be there by mistake. If you still haven’t received any emails, reach out to our Customer Service team.
I have a question about my bill/charges, who can help me?

Rooms
How many beds are in a room?
All of Clarita’s rooms have one full size bed. You may also request an extra single bed for $10/night.
How many people can be in one room?
Max room occupancy is 2. Additional bed available upon request ($10/night) for a max of occupancy of 4.
Restaurant

Is the restaurant on property?
Yes the restaurant is on property, near the hotel.
When is happy hour?
Sunset Happy Hour is from 3pm-5pm daily.
Pool
How do you access the pool?
Pool access is available to all Hotel Guests. No special keys are required, pool is open and is near the hotel area.
How many pools do you have? Are they open year-round? What are the hours of operation of the pools?
We currently only have one pool, it is open year-round, 8am-8pm daily.
Do I have to reserve a chair at the pool?
No reservation needed, chairs are first come, first serve.
Will you have food service at the pool?
Food orders can be made at the pool. Please use the call button near the pool to request a server.
